What is a government-authorised translation?
Government-authorised translators are authorised by the government to certify true translations. We have passed a very demanding examination at NHH, the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and been authorized to certify our translations with a special stamp and our signature. Most of us are members of the Association of Government Authorized Translators in Norway.

When do I need a certified translation? Certified translations are often required in connection with applying for a place at university or a school, or in connection with weddings, visa applications and  court proceedings.  For more information, please click here.

What do translations cost?
My charge is NOK 490 per standard page (see below), exclusive of VAT.  This is also my minimum rate.  I charge NOK 500  (exclusive VAT) per hour for other language services. For larger projects and agencies, discounts can be negotiated.

How long  does it take to have a document translated?
I always agree on delivery times when taking on a project.

Delivery times depend on the size of the project—but they can start from one day. Express delivery can be agreed (surcharge minimum 25%). For more information, please click here.
